| I've been off work for several weeks.
Had a whole list of things to do. Didn't get to
much of it yet. Took some steps toward what I
wanted to get done but individual steps don't
hardly count unless you make it to the
destination. And I haven't made it yet. I'm
a fan of Steve Pavlina though I don't subscribe
to his world view or his dietary ideas. I think I
like him cause he wants to help people and
understands that helping people is good for
business. You just can't give the whole house
away.
So anyway, I was a little worried
about my lack of productivity when I decided to
procrastinate from my next task and visit Steve's
blog. Found two good productivity articles there.

Then I went over to Joe Bageant's blog
and read this article. Joe doesn't talk much
about productivity. But we don't always need to
be productive. And he does suggest selling
tomatoes here and giving away the house. Of
course he suggested giving away the house via a
2nd mortgage to send a good kid to college.

Maybe that's Joe's idea of
productivity. I can't fault that one either. And
I hope Pauline got some great tomatoes. Now I
need to go produce some html. Maybe make a dollar
or two.

And now it's later. I updated another
blog with a
new original article and I
stumbled on this article on Paul Graham's site. http://www.paulgraham.com/boss.html
In a round about way it talks about productivity
by pointing out where having a boss might stifle
individual growth and creativity.
Think about it!
