I was going to use real blog software for this project (and I probably will down the road). Checked out Word Press. Really good stuff there. I just decided to wait for a bit since the server I'm using for this doesn't have Mysql setup on it yet.

I'll get to that after I get the site up and running good. There's a lot of "More Pressing" work I need to do first.

BTW: If you're looking to set up a blog of your own Word Press is a good place to start. http://www.wordpress.org

What the heck? A Homemade Blog? About Homemade Stuff?

Yeah, it all started with a spam to one of my Web Boards. Dang spammer left a link to his site. The link was to a huge page full of key words and phrases with links. There was a lot porn and a lot of celebrity junk. Some news keywords and other junk. But wow!! It was chock full of howto and homemade keywords. And every link went to another site he owned which was a spyware program.

But all those great keywords!!! I grabbed a copy of the page. Wouldn't load into my HTML Editors so I cut it into half. Still wouldn't load so I cut the halves again. Then again and again. Finally got it down to something manageable. About 50 pages total.

Then I started checking each phrase. When a phrase would catch my eye I'd do a Google search and do some research then make the phrase a link to either the best site I could find there or else write my own page about the subject.

Little by little I wound up with enough material to start this blog.
